Imani's Academic Learning Center offers Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES). SSES provides financial assistance to parents or caregivers of special education students affected by COVID-19 school closures. With a one-time grant of $1,500, eligible families can access online accounts to acquire educational materials, resources, or specific services like speech therapy to support their child's learning needs.

Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) are one-time, online grants for eligible parents/caregivers of special education students with disabilities who are currently enrolled in a Texas public school. The SSES program allows parents to direct grant funds to pay for goods and services that provide a direct educational benefit to their child. SSES families can utilize the funds for additional tutoring, therapy or other specialized services. Our goal is to provide eligible families with access to service providers in all areas of Texas. Additionally, families can use funds for educational and therapeutic services and goods to benefit their student.
